In terms of new engineering, we have identified 612 research and practice projects of new engineering, established the International Alliance for New Engineering Education and the International Alliance for "One Belt, One Road" Engineering Education, and launched the "Ten Million" plan for the construction of new engineering. This plan is to accelerate the construction of professional curriculum systems in ten emerging fields, such as big data, intelligent manufacturing and robotics, and build 100 new engineering curriculum repositories or online open courses for at least 10,000 new engineering students. This is a new engineering work in the near future.
In terms of new medicine, it mainly adapts to the requirements of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, puts forward a new concept of life and health full-cycle medicine, from treatment-oriented to preventive treatment and rehabilitation, opens new specialties such as precision medicine, translational medicine and intelligent medicine, and approves 74 affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities as the first batch of national clinical teaching and training demonstration centers.
In the construction of new agricultural science, the key point is to upgrade the existing agriculture-related majors with modern scientific and technological transformation, and to arrange new agriculture-related majors that meet the needs of the development of new industries and new formats.
